Safety Harbor in Florida is the home of the historic Espiritu Santo Springs, given this name in 1539 by the Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto. He was searching for the legendary Fountain of Youth. The natural springs have attracted attention worldwide.

In Gainesville, Georgia,  the Chicken Capital of the World. it is illegal to eat chicken with a fork.

 


Hawaii
The Hawaiian Archipelago consists of over 130 scattered points of land stretching some 1,600 miles in length from the Kure Atoll in the north to the Island of Hawaii in the south.
